Really nice for walks and runs. Amazing view onto Boston Downtown from here, especially during sunset.
The views of the city from the bridge are amazing. By car, the Red line, or by foot. The sidewalk is wide and clean. I was impressed at the way traffic was organized on what is a high-traffic bridge. If you’re tired from walking across it, take the red line back across!
Every time I used red line and go to Boston area, this river scenery was great. And finally, I took some time to walk along this bridge. It may become a road for runners. In reality, the scenery was amazing. It seems like a boundary between a traditional area and a latest one.
The views of the city from the foot path are stunning, especially at night. It’s a lovely walk if you’re visiting Boston I’d definitely recommend it. The red T train goes slowly across the bridge, maybe only 5 or so mph, but it gives you a lovely view too. No matter how you go across the bridge I’d add it to your itinerary.
Awesome bridge to walk over. You can see the whole city, and the views are amazing, especially at sunset. It’s a little under one half mile from one side to the other. The T runs in the middle between the lanes of traffic.
I love walking on this bridge it’s my favorite place to take a walk and just calm down and take a look at the city and the river is so beautiful especially on sunny days in the sun rays glow off of the water. The winter is always beautiful …
I've driven over the bridge 🌉, much to the chagrin of native Bostonians, but I had a chance to observe the bridge while on a 🦆 Duck boat tour. I'm impressed by the architecture and the sculptures. I am planning on walking the bridge after reading the Google reviews. …
I would say it’s the most beautiful bridge over Charles River. Also it carries busy traffic every day with cars and trains. By the way, if windows on the MBTA Red Line trains were much cleaner, it would be lovely to watch the sunset when taking the train across the river.
If you’re from a small state, this bridge will be a hike and a half, but it’s well worth it. Was long enough to wear our my three small kids, but scenic enough to not mind a workout while carrying my 1-year-old.
Gorgeous walk on this bridge over the Charles River. The bridge has a separate pedestrian walkway which is separated from the cars with a guard rail. The view of Boston is spectacular. …
